At Simon Ashley Design Studio, I served as an Interior Designer with a focus on kitchen and bathroom design. Working directly for a building contractor, I collaborated closely with clients and construction teams to create functional, aesthetic spaces that aligned with both the homeowner’s vision and the builder’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designed kitchens and bathrooms from concept through execution, with an emphasis on functionality, layout, and cabinetry detailing.

  • Worked hand-in-hand with a building contractor to ensure all design solutions aligned with construction feasibility and project timelines.

  • Maintained strong client relationships throughout the design and build process, guiding clients through material selections, finishes, and space planning decisions.

  • Translated client needs into practical design solutions, balancing aesthetics, budget, and structural constraints.

  • Participated in on-site meetings to coordinate with trades and resolve any design or construction challenges in real-time.
